Killian Student Honored by Los Angeles County Fire Department For Winning Artwork

 
Killian Elementary 3rd Grader Marleen Tjutiwaty was a winner in the Los Angeles County Fire Department's "Junior Fire Chiefs Poster Contest." From more than 200 entries, her winning artwork was represented for 3rd grade. She was recognized on July 2 at the Los Angeles County Fire Department Headquarters.

  • Students were also treated to a tour of the fire station headquarters, were cooked lunch by the firefighters and got the chance to climb into a fire truck!
