Guiding Principles
I am committed to meeting the unique and specific developmental needs of the students I teach. My classroom’s organizational structure, programs and activities reflect the intellectual, social, and emotional needs of the students I teach.
“Kids Come First”: Every decision is based on what is best for the students.
“I Teach Children, Not Subject”: The development of the whole child is my primary focus.
“Students are a Work in Progress”: I work to foster a healthy and successful transition through each individual child’s social and developmental stages in life
“Aim High”: I strive for excellence by setting high expectations for everyone
“With Freedom Comes Responsibility”: As students earn greater responsibilities they are held accountable for the decisions they make accordingly.
“Mission Possible”: A positive attitude is essential for a cohesive classroom.
Education is a Team Sport: A classroom needs the support and involvement of parents and community members.
