Q: Is school in-person or online, and when does school start?

A: Classes are In-person and the first day of school is August 9, 2021. Check out this flyer

Q: Do we have to wear a mask?

A: Yes, everyone must wear a mask at school except during recess and lunch. The only exception is if you have a medical exemption.

 

Q: Do we have to social distance?

A: It is recommended that all people socially distance if possible based on the setting and space available.

 

Q: Do I need to turn in my device from last year?

A: Students who were 2nd graders last year will exchange their iPad for a new Chromebook. All other students will keep their iPads or Chromebooks until further notice. All students entering Kindergarten as well as students who are new to our school will be issued a device.

 

Q: How will the school communicate and provide updates to parents?

A: The school office and teachers regularly communicate to families using ParentSquare.

 

Q.What is ParentSquare and do I need to use it?

A: ParentSquare is a mobile app that facilitates communication between school and families. Teachers also use ParentSquare to communicate with families throughout the year.
